Tags are fun because they force you to take a break from taking a break from blogs and get back to frequent blogging:-) A new job and little Antara have been keeping me fully occupied; so much so that Poor Hari and my blogging have had to be a bit patient with me.
Ok, So Hari tagged me to write about 5 things...
5 Things in my Bag:
* My tablet laptop which is seemingly nice but with a little use, it became painfully obvious that I have to squint to see anything on my screen.
* An mp3 player with voice recorder which I bought many moons ago for work purposes (needed a voice recorder). This recorder, sicne we are talking about it, has a rubber coating which has now melted due to exposure to sunlight and had accidentally (I honestly dont know how) caught a piece of chewing gum on it which dried and left a mark even after being peeled off.
* 5 Thumbdrives (one branded Standard Chartered, a couple branded Google, One Kensington and another random one)
* A woollen scarf stuffed into the side making the bag look inflated for the cold office and for the cold flights when i have to do day trips for work
* A few electricity bills that I have paid through online banking but have invariably forgotten to put away
5 Things in my wallet:
* 8 Protographs of Antara; 7 Photographs of moi and 3 Photographs of Hari (in his Lebonese disguise)
* A California drivers license in the name of Maya Hari and an Indian drivers license in the name of Maya Mani
* Cash in Rs 500 denominations (the ATM doesnt give me anything smaller and the taxi drivers that take me to work in the morning each day hate me, actually loathe me for it.)
* Random visiting cards of - A nanny agency in Mumbai, A home loan agent, a sculpture store Hari and I had visited in Bali and a friendly shopkeeper that runs a stationary and electronics store in South Mumbai who will drive two hours to deliver reams of printer paper for the home printer if needed (God bless him). Other than the shopkeeper, the other cards, I realize I really need to throw away.
5 things in my room:
* My hubby - My sustenance
* Clothes piled up strategically behind the curtain on the window ledge that needs ironing
* The little creature that comes attached to Hari and I these days.....uhmmm.....what do you call it......oh yeah...Antara!!! And a humongous crib that comes with the creature.
* An elegant FabIndia laundry basket that I am very proud of
* Two pieces of art in blue and green tones (One - a woman's face painted by artist Shan-Merry in Watercolours
