Its been almost 4 months now and I finally am at a place where I can proclaim this to the world (yeah, thats right, the whole world that reads this nail-bitingly fascinating blog) that Hari and I are slated to become parents soon.
Pregnant pause......(pun not intended).........for you to digest this new visual.
Most folks who we have said this to took their own sweet time recovering from the shock of thinking that there would be more to HarMaya than Hari and Maya...
Anyway, we are excited about it. Our doc is very cool. She doesnt fuss or shower us with motherly advice and such. She is dry, to the point and coldly honest....just the way we like it:-)
Life has taken quite a turn. We went through a few minutes of panic saying..shit, does this mean our plans to dive in Thailand and bungee jump in New Zealand may have to be altered??? Perhaps, Perhaps not. We are going to be parents for the first time. So we will live to find out.
In any case, just to be safe, we hope to squeeze in a long awaited Japan trip in March. Who knows if the baby will take kindly to Sushi or Udon once she gets here...
Anyway, thats all for now. I will go back to the fancy world of being pampered even more than usual by Hari! :-)!
